This position is responsible for setup and the ongoing maintenance of IT security accounts for all Division applications to which employees and contractors are provided access.

Job responsibilities: Processes adds, changes, deletes requests for AFIP, AZTECS, ACF2, NATURAL, LAN, Health E Arizona application, SAVE Application, CATS Application, OnBase, JP Morgan-EBT production access, ADUC and OUTLOOK includes annotation on mandatory forms to meet audit standards. Performs this function for both Internal and External users. Assist with identifying, defining and documenting user profiles for job roles in various applications; Provide excellent and timely customer service via heavy phone and e-mail volume. Enforce established DES Policy and Procedures with regards to internal and external security. Prepare monthly user account reports to monitor all applications for system non-use to ensure mandatory and standards are met or exceeded. Other security related tasks can include processing Data Sharing Agreements/Memos of Understanding, implementing portions of Security Awareness campaigns, participating in monthly Security Technician Team meetings and providing input on account policies. Complete monthly reporting for the Internal Risk Management Administration to include account related statistics, such as user account corrections, determine accurate account access authorized, machine and compliance audits. Documentation of account related policies and procedures. Updating the FAA DSU Resource document that security technicians follow when completing user account activity; assist ISA in resolving any Division/Program security incidents/violations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of: Information Security technologies in the areas of risk assessment, compliance and vulnerability management; IT security policies and procedures; IT security standards; Information security software capabilities and limitations; IT and telecommunications security trends and practices; the use and support of personal computer systems involving security related software products; DES IT policies, procedures and practices. Knowledge of office standards and organization.

Skills in: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal. Skill in customer service; responding promptly to requests for service/assistance, meets commitments; the use and support of personal computer systems involving security related software products; prioritizing and planning work activities, sets goals and objectives; uses time efficiently; focusing on solving conflicts; identifying solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Technical presentation skills. Excellent computer skills. Skill with systems analysis and computer operations.

Ability to: balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasks; work collaboratively in teams and across organizations; synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly; build strong relationships inside and outside the organization; develop and write technical document.




Requires Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.

In-state travel may be required.  Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment.  Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.).   Employees may be required to use their own transportation as well as maintaining valid motor vehicle insurance and current Arizona vehicle registration; however, mileage will be reimbursed.

Selective Preferences:

Associate's degree plus 1 year experience with Information security analysis or equivalent.
