- Provide personal care for members with developmental disabilities (e.g., bathing, toileting, dressing, personal hygiene)
- Drive a transport vehicle and assist members with safety requirements, including safety and stability of wheelchairs
- Complete incident reports and respond to emergency situations
- Encourage members with developmental disabilities to engage in recreational activities available at home or in the community
- Communicate (in writing and verbally) and follow directions
- Implement Individual Support Plans (ISP) programs and strategies; collect and record data
- Administer, order, and store medications of members according to doctors’ orders
- Prepare, cook, set up, and serve meals to members; encourage member participation during meals to ensure nutritional requirements are met
- Complete general housekeeping duties
