Reporting directly to a Manager the intern position will offer a student work experience in information technology relating to their field of study.  This experience will be valuable to a student as a means of allowing them to experience how their studies are applied in the "real world" by touching vulnerable citizens lives and making a difference using automated tools and various systems and applications.  Internships in areas of assignments such as: information risk management, business intelligence, technical writing for data security, IT application upgrades methodologies and techniques, problems solving for real life government and business solutions.


-        Support the Information Technology Team in the assigned area (e.g., maintenance of hardware, software and other systems; business intelligence; .net).

-        Apply the principles, theories, and concepts of areas of study within academic discipline.  

-        Identify stress points, do root case analysis, document requirements, code, test, deploy, solve problems with metrics and Key Performance Indicators.

-        Assist with the development of LEAN initiatives, outcomes and counter measures.

-        Collaborate in the development of Division initiatives.

-        Other duties as assigned as related to the position.
