JOB SUMMARY:

The primary role of the Network Coordinator is to support Qualified Vendors (QV) with technical assistance (both fiscal and programmatic), licensing and certification requirements. To provide Residential, Day Program and Home and Community Based (HCBS) services.

JOB DUTIES: 

-          Assists support coordination as needed with identification of potential QV providers(vendor calls/direct referrals) and/or other resources for identified needs

-          Composes out of home placement requests for central office approval, composes vendor calls for public review, assists with emergency placement needs, requests expansions for difficult to serve individuals including matching potential roommates; sets rate for new placements in OLCR homes

-          Provides technical assistance to QV/independent providers related to strategies/progress reporting requirements; reviews billing practices

-          Uses FOCUS to determine billing; checks time sheets for errors; completes data sheet for time sheets showing hours, days, date, service billed; develops databases and methods for tracking billing

-          Advises Network Supervisor of unusual or extreme problems

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):

Knowledge of:

-          Working knowledge of people with developmental disabilities

-          Community resources

-          Basic principles and practices of Case Management

Skill in:

-          Oral and written communication

-          Interpersonal relations as applied to contacts with members and representatives of other governmental, community organizations and the public

-          Researching and applying laws, rules, policies and procedures and directives and monitoring and evaluating services

Ability to:

-          Organize information quickly and logically and remain flexible as priorities change

-          Adapt and be sensitive to cultural diversity

-          Maintain and display a professional demeanor

SELECTIVE PREFERENCE(S):

-          The ideal candidate will possess at least one (1) year of experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: 

-          Valid Driver’s License

-          Background and Reference Checks
