Division of Developmental Disabilities

The Division of Developmental Disabilities’ (DDD) Program Project Specialist 2 is responsible for developing and providing training and technical guidance to the developmental home vendor agencies.


-          Developing and writing internal policies and procedures, and training pertaining to Office of Licensing, Certification, and Regulation (OLCR), Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) certification, and Developmental Home Licensing

-          Training and providing technical support to vendor agencies

-          Maintaining and updating OLCR forms and developing new forms as necessary


Knowledge of:

-          Training and presentation methods

-          Licensing procedures like developmental home licensing procedures or foster care licensing

Skill in:

-          Verbal and written communication

-          Utilizing Microsoft Products including Word, Excel and Outlook

Ability to:

-          Develop written policies and procedures

-          Formulate, interpret and explain rules, regulations, and policies

-          Analyze information, identify problems and develop solutions.

-          Drive a vehicle


-          A candidate with Bachelor's degree and experience related to developmental home licensing or foster care licensing is preferred

-          The ideal candidate will have experience writing policies and procedures and developing training

-          Experience working with the Division of Development Disabilities is desirable


-          Background and Reference Checks

-          Valid Driver’s License
