Senior Network Infrastructure Project Manager

This position manages and drives large and complex IT Network infrastructure projects to successful completion.


-          Owning, managing and driving large and complex IT Network Infrastructure projects to successful completion.

-          Tracking project milestones/deliverables to ensure projects are on schedule and within scope.

-          Translating customer requirements into a scope of work that includes new build infrastructure, wireless network access, contact center and IVR call distribution/reporting, Voice Signature, Workforce Management, cable plant distribution, cable management and carrier services.

-          Delivering technical solutions for legacy applications interface.


Knowledge of:

-          Theoretical and practical aspects of project management.

-          Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).

Skill in:

-          Oral and written communication.

-          Project management techniques.

Ability to:

-          Balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasks.

-          Work collaboratively in teams and across organizations.

-          Synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly.

-          Build strong relationships inside and outside the organization.

-          Develop and write technical documentation.

-          Lead team(s) to design solution for clients.

-          Work with minimal guidance.


-          A Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years or more of experience in project coordination and management; OR Arizona State Project Management Certification; OR Project Management Professional (PMP).


-          Have a current, valid state issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment. Employee is subject to driver’s license record checks and must maintain an acceptable driving record, valid motor vehicle insurance and registration, and must complete any required training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12).

-          Apply for and show proof of receipt of a valid Arizona Fingerprint Card that meets Level One requirements.

-          Successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify), applicable to all newly hired State employees.

-          Successfully pass background and reference checks. Employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process and the agency’s ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.
